Choose your airport before comparing cars

An airport name and a nearby town are not always the same pickup option. Select your arrival airport in the search, enter the planned collection time and check the handover details of the car. For a different return airport, set the return location before comparing totals. A listed destination is a place to search, not proof of current stock.

Terminal desk, meeting point or shuttle?

Airport car hire can involve different collection arrangements. A terminal desk requires you to find the named company’s desk. A meeting-point booking requires the location and contact instructions on your voucher. An off-airport office can involve a shuttle or another transfer arrangement. Compare the practical handover as well as the rental price; do not assume every airport offer has a terminal desk.

Late flights and realistic collection times

Enter the flight details where requested and follow the supplier’s flight-delay procedure. Check collection hours, any out-of-hours charge and the contact to use if plans change. Allow time for leaving the aircraft, border checks where applicable and collecting luggage. Airport opening hours do not establish the rental supplier’s operating hours.

Payments and protection at airport pickup

Before payment, check the online advance, the remaining balance, the security deposit and their accepted payment methods. If you need no deposit, no credit card or a €0 excess, verify each condition in the same selected offer. Keep the relevant terms with the confirmation, then check the rental contract at pickup.

Return location and timing

Follow the car supplier’s return address and procedure, which may differ from the passenger drop-off area. Confirm whether staff inspect the car or a key drop is used, and check the fuel policy and any return restrictions. Plan enough time for the handover, a transfer if needed and your airline’s check-in requirements.

Airport car-hire questions

Clear answers for a smoother start. Always check the terms of the car you choose.

All rental questions
Are all airport rental cars collected inside the terminal?

No. A selected offer may use a terminal desk, an agreed meeting point or an off-airport office with transfer. Your voucher and the car’s pickup instructions determine the arrangement.

Can I return at a different Greek airport?

Only when a one-way arrangement is offered and confirmed. Enter the different return location before booking and check any fee. Do not assume a car can be moved between islands or left at another airport.

Does a 24-hour airport mean 24-hour car collection?

No. Airport hours and rental-supplier hours are different. Check your exact collection time, late-arrival procedure and any out-of-hours cost.

Can airport car rental be without a deposit or credit card?

Selected offers may provide either option. Apply the relevant filters and confirm deposit and payment details for the chosen car. A zero excess is a separate protection condition.

Where can I find help with an existing airport booking?

Use the booking-support details in your confirmation for reservation changes. For arrival, delays or the handover itself, use the supplier contact and instructions on your voucher.
